Makeup Credits

Makeup credits let you track when students are owed a makeup lesson due to a cancellation or absence. This is a Pro plan feature.

Enabling makeup credits

Once enabled, you can assign and track credits for each student.

How credits work

• When a student misses a lesson and you want to offer a makeup, you add a credit to their account
• When they attend a makeup lesson, the credit is used up
• Credits can also be applied as discounts on invoices

Using credits on invoices

When creating an invoice, you can apply a student’s makeup credit as a line item discount. This deducts one credit from their balance.

Viewing credit balances

You can see makeup credit balances in several places:

• Dashboard — The Makeup Credits widget shows all students with available credits
• Student profile — Each student’s profile shows their current balance
• Student Portal — Families can see their credit balance in the Portal Profile page
