The Calendar is the central hub for your teaching schedule. It supports multiple views so you can see your lessons at whatever level of detail you need.
Calendar views
Nova offers four calendar views:
- Month — See the full month at a glance. Lessons appear as colored blocks. Good for spotting gaps and getting an overview.
- Week — The default view. Shows all lessons for the current week in a time grid. Best for day-to-day scheduling.
- Day — Focus on a single day with detailed time slots. Useful when you have a packed teaching day.
- Agenda — A simple list view of upcoming lessons sorted by date. Great for a quick “what’s next” check.
Switch between views using the buttons at the top of the Calendar page.
Navigating dates
- Use the arrow buttons to move forward or back (by week, month, or day depending on your current view)
- Click Today to jump back to the current date
- On mobile, you can swipe left and right to navigate
Color coding
Lessons are color-coded by student, making it easy to spot who’s scheduled when. Group lessons have their own distinct styling.
Creating events from the calendar
You can create a new lesson by clicking directly on a time slot in the Week or Day view. This pre-fills the date and time for you.
Drag and drop lessons to quickly reschedule them. This works in both Week and Day views.
