Broadcast messages let you send a single announcement to all (or selected) families at once. Perfect for studio closures, recital details, schedule changes, or policy updates.
Sending a broadcast
- Go to Messages
- Click New Broadcast
- Write your announcement
- Choose your recipients:
- All families — sends to everyone
- Selected families — pick specific families
- Click Send
Pinning broadcasts
Important announcements can be pinned so they stay at the top of the message list in the student portal.
- Open a broadcast you’ve already sent
- Click the Pin option
- The broadcast now appears pinned at the top of the portal Messages page
Pin announcements like recital schedules or studio holiday dates so families can always find them easily.
How families see broadcasts
Broadcasts appear in the Messages section of the student portal. Families can see who sent it and when. Broadcasts are one-way — families can’t reply to them directly (they can start a new direct message instead).
Free plan limits
On the Free plan, you have a limited number of broadcasts per month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited broadcasts.
