Navigating the Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home base in Nova. It gives you a quick overview of your studio with customizable widgets.

Dashboard widgets

Your dashboard includes several widgets:

• Week View — A visual calendar showing this week’s lessons with attendance status (present, absent, unmarked)
• Unmarked Attendance — Lessons that haven’t been marked yet, with quick buttons to mark attendance
• Overdue Invoices — Any unpaid invoices past their due date
• Makeup Credits — Students who have makeup credits to use
• Monthly Revenue — A summary of your earnings for the current month
• Practice Activity — See which students have been logging practice time

Marking attendance from the dashboard

The Unmarked Attendance widget lets you quickly mark attendance without going to the Calendar:

You can also filter by date and use bulk select to mark multiple lessons at once.

Customizing your dashboard

You can rearrange widgets by dragging them to different positions. The layout saves automatically.

New user onboarding

If you’re new to Nova, the Dashboard shows an onboarding wizard that walks you through:

1. Setting up your studio profile
2. Adding your first students
3. Creating your schedule
4. Exploring billing and the student portal

You can skip any step and come back to it later.
